Mirabel-aux-Baronnies

Below are two slideshows – the first is a slideshow of the village, taken from the “outside in”, and the second is a series of photos taken of Mirabel as seen from neighboring Piégon. And at the very bottom are links to two sweeping panoramas of the Mirabel valley.

This slideshow opens with a view of Mirabel as seen from the Eygues River valley, with Mt. Ventoux in the background. It then samples sights from the surrounding fields; and finishes with village scenes ending at our front door:

This slideshow of Mirabel is as seen from neighboring Piégon’s clock tower & Notre-Dame de Cadenet chapel (chapel’s location on Google Maps):

Lastly, here are two sweeping panoramas of Mirabel-aux-Baronnies and its valley as seen from neighboring Piégon:

In the first panorama, Mt. Ventoux is the snow covered mountain on the left; in the second, the lovely little chapel is Piégon’s Notre-Dame de Cadenet, and in both, Mirabel is the village with the steeple on the right (only 2 miles away).
